Homemade Beef Patties and Greek Salad (ΜΠΙΦΤΕΚΙΑ ΣΧΑΡΑΣ)
INGREDIENTS:
1 kg fatty ground beef
1 onion
1 tomato
2 garlic cloves
1/3 bunch parsley
1/3 bunch mint
50 grams olive oil
100 grams breadcrumbs
Salt, pepper, paprika
1 egg
1 tsp vinegar
METHOD:
1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with chopped onion, crushed garlic, chopped parsley, chopped mint, grated tomato, salt, pepper, paprika, vinegar, olive oil, and breadcrumbs. Mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to let the ingredients meld together.
2. Form the mixture into balls and shape them into patties of your preferred size. (The recipe author made patties of 130 grams each.)
3. Preheat the grill, lightly oil it, and grill the patties to your desired doneness - whether well-done or medium for j...

You said to use the SAME olive oil for the tomato sauce? I used a strainer to safe the oil and discard the particles? Did I do something wrong? I will follow up after we eat👏👏👍

My chicken shop where I get my yiros from have gone away on holidays so now I can make my own at home ❤❤ greetings from Adelaide ❤ Edit - I love the fact you spelled it Yiros as supposed to Giros.
